What’s the coolest car you’ve seen in New York?

This, of course, would be the coolest I’ve seen in NYC, but unfortunately I didn’t even see it. A friend sent me the photos after telling me that she saw this crazy car over the weekend. I asked what it was and she said she didn’t know.

So I began the detective process…What did it look like? How many doors? Old or new? Supercar? Exotic?

She said it was definitely a custom car, it had a swooping hood and a roadster look to it, she didn’t know how old, not really a supercar per se.

Was it a Porsche? No! Maserati? No. Alfa? Nope, it had wings on the emblem though. 

Wings? Was it a Bentley? No. Rolls? I know what a Rolls-Royce looks like! For sure it was an Aston? Nope.

What the hell was it? Got the photos the next day and lo-and-behold it was an effing Morgan Aero Supersports!!! Wouldn’t have guessed it in a million tries, because there really aren’t any Morgan dealers this side of the Atlantic.

In the last photo, you can see the license plate is encased in a Dancy Automotive Group frame. They sell exotics in Long Island and this came from there apparently.

Amazing find. I’m just glad she snapped these photos and thought to send them to me.
